Our solution design need to provide messaging to as many patients as possible without the need to download apps or perform complex registration processes.
As communication of the lowest common denominator was required (in this case texting) to provide the best reach to patients. We designed a solution based around the delivery of SMS messages based on a personalised program for each patient with the ability for each patient to interact back by text to a team of specialists.
The message programs were ruled based, utilising patient profile data to match and refine messaging.
The solution was also required to handle multiple organisation needs, programs and a high volume of patients. This required us to build a multi tenanted solution with high scalability utilising AWS scaling groups, load balancers and EC2 servers.
