Requirement

Caring for ones loved ones in need can be challenging at the best of times. Compounded by the complexity around government disability plans, authorisation of spend and general budgeting of allocated funds.

A well known innovative disability planning and management specialist approached us to build a “new generation” planning and management of disability plans platform to replace their existing home grown system that could no longer handles the volume of use. But more importantly to extend capability to allow their staff, coordinators, providers and clients to benefit from a streamlined process, instant availability of plan detail and self service.

Solution

Given the scale of the requirement we split the project into multiple phases with predefined commercial outcomes that needed to be met before starting the next phase.

In Phase 1 we focused on developing a comprehensive administrative capability to allow the staff to handle all workflows, plan management, invoice tracking and banking for all client, coordinator and provider activity.

After the successful launch of this capability Phase 2 has commenced to extend the reach of the system to coordinators and clients. For this phase we are building a dedicated mobile app for the access and self service of claim requests, plan details and authorisation of spend.

At time of writing this Phase 3/4 is being planned for the near future to further enhance the mobile app functionality to cater for provider functionality plus provide a subscription service for other planners to utilise the platform.
