Legal library management

Our client engaged us to build the storage and cross reference of legal material ranging from case details, precedents, articles, videos, images and notes. The need was a database that could be easily accessed, items categorised, ranked and for supporting commentary by legal practitioners to be associated with each item.

We designed a solution around a proprietary document object storage supported with complex cross reference capability and the ability to categorise at multiple levels, add rankings, comments and associations between each item of information. The object store was then wrapped with a REST API layer to control access, search. management and retrieval of items.
