A prestigious Australian research organisation enlisted our help to create a mass participation platform. This platform was intended to enable Australian citizens to partake in energy surveys and receive insights into household energy consumption related to weather events, such as heatwaves, and trends in domestic electricity use.

Solution

We devised a solution centred around a cloud-based platform for managing surveys and distributing information to specific participant groups, guided by set rules and participant profiles. The platform was augmented with custom-built mobile applications for both iOS and Android, ensuring participants could easily access information and provide feedback while on the move.

An innovative aspect of the platform was the inclusion of gamification features, such as leaderboards and badge awards, which significantly enhanced user engagement.

The platform proved to be highly successful, engaging a substantial number of Australian citizens throughout the research period.
