The Challenge for L.E.K. Consulting
L.E.K. Consulting wanted to provide their strategists with a more powerful, interactive way to model complex corporate value drivers. Typically, mapping these financial and operational relationships required dense spreadsheets that were difficult to present to clients and hard to adjust dynamically during high-stakes meetings. They needed a highly visual, web-based tool capable of processing robust financial models in real-time.
The Solution
iMSX built a bespoke Value Driver Tree analysis platform combining a powerful mathematical processing backend within an Excel environment. This allowed consultants to visually construct node-based influence diagrams, instantly adjust variables, and immediately see the cascading impact on overall corporate valuation. We integrated robust version control and presentation modes to make client workshops seamless and impactful.
